Overview

Markd Timeline is designed to help you track personal activities. Data handling is local-first and minimal.

No Account Required

Markd Timeline does not require account creation or sign-in. There are no user accounts in the app.

Data Processed In-App

Depending on features you enable, the app may process activity entries, notes, reminders, optional location context, optional images, optional intensity scale values, and optional sleep data from Health Connect.

How Data Is Used

Data is used to provide timeline logging, history and stats views, reminders, map views, and backup/export actions that you start.

Storage and Network Sharing

Data is stored locally on your device. The app does not operate a backend service for storing your personal logs. Data is only shared when you explicitly export or share files (for example JSON/CSV/AI export).

Permissions

Permissions are optional and feature-based: location (GPS logging), notifications (reminders), photos/camera (image attachments), and Health Connect (sleep data).

Health Connect

If granted, the app reads sleep sessions from Health Connect to display sleep and awake context in the timeline. This is used locally on-device.

Data Sales and Advertising

Markd Timeline does not sell personal data and does not include in-app advertising.

Sensitive Activities

You can mark any activity as sensitive. When the global privacy toggle is off, sensitive activities and their entries are hidden from all screens, exports, and share sheets.

Your Choices

You can delete entries, disable permissions in device settings, and stop optional integrations at any time. You can mark activities as sensitive to control their visibility. You can export or back up data as JSON or CSV from Settings.

Policy Updates

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed to children under 13.
